I think, that the first chapter was very good, because everything was good avowed.
But I long to know why his father left Alex and his mum, why he emigrated to Australia and if he have a new family...

I also think that Alex do the right, to visit his father in Australia, because he as he saw his father the last time Alex was just a little boy.
