After reading chapter 6

I thought true, as I thought, that Alex will be angry (the best example for that is on p. 32/l. 6 "banged the glass angrily on the table"), but I was very surprised as I read that Alex forgive Tom so fast!
And I wondered when Alex asked Tom why he never sent a postcard on Christmas and tom answered that he thought, that Alex hate him, even IF he hate him he had wrote a card anyhow!

Oh yes!
I'm really agree with you!
I don't understand this part, too. It's very unrealistic. If I was Alex I wouldn't forgive Tom so fast.

Sorry, but your expression: "I thought true, as I thought" isn't very fitting, you should better write something like: I was right, by thinking that.. But that's just a little mistake. Of course I would also be confused, if Alex had really forgive his dad so quick, as far as I'm concered that's the only change he had to get to know Tom and that is the only reason why he traveled to Australia because he don't want to take over his mum doubts. For that reason it's the allmost cleverst decision trying to understand his father, also if Alex is still angry.
In your text you've count exsamples that fit very good. (I've looked them up)
Please answear this little question and write it down at my blog: How do you think had Alex react or ask if he were prepared?
THX (I'm looking forward reading your next text!)
